So the centurion took him to the commander and said, “Paul the prisoner sent and asked me to bring this young man to you. He has something to tell you.”

[18] The centurion, recognizing the urgency in Paul's voice, brought the youth to his commander, explaining, "The prisoner Paul asked me to bring this young man to you. He has important information."

He indeed, then, having taken him, brought him unto the chief captain, and saith, ‘The prisoner Paul, having called me near, asked me this young man to bring unto thee, having something to say to thee.’
