[7] Additionally, they must have earned genuine respect from those outside the faith community. Think about it - if their character doesn't shine brightly enough to earn outsiders' respect, how can they effectively represent the Messiah? Moreover, a questionable reputation could leave them vulnerable to the Enemy's snares.
