And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.

This is His commandment: that we should believe in the Name of His Son, ישוע (Yeshua) HaMashiach, and love (agape) one another, just as He gave us His commandment.

[23] And this is His command: to believe in the name of His Son, Jesus the Messiah, and to love one another as He commanded us. This double command of faith and love summarizes the Christian life.This is His commandment: that we should trust in the Name of His Son, the personal Name of Jesus the Anointed Messiah. We are also commanded by Jesus Himself to sacrificially love one another, just as He has commanded us.
