(4) One who speaks in a tongue builds himself up but one who prophesies builds up the assembly.
The F.O.G
[4] Speaking in tongues builds up the individual believer—like private worship music between their soul and יהוה. But prophesying builds up the entire church family—like a master builder strengthening the whole structure.

he who is speaking in an unknown tongue, himself doth edify, and he who is prophesying, an assembly doth edify;
