Meditate on these Powerful Healing Scriptures KJV style!

“forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Are you in need of a miracle of
Health and wellness today?

This post is for you and I know it will be a holy appointment if you confess by faith these healing scriptures KJV style!

The King James Version is a modern-day miracle in that 412 years later it is still so readably poetic. But we aren’t going to stop there because there is power in repetition, so I also have the The Passion Translation (tPT) (where available) and a first draft of the new Fear of God (F.O.G) Bible.

This post is inspired by the following Rodney Howard Browne sermon – after a moment he found himself in need of a miracle and he felt his faith and belief rise up within him as he spoke these Scriptures.

Healing Bible Verses

Isaiah 53:5

He was pierced from our crimes,
Beaten from our burdensome guilt.
The discipline for our shalom-peace was upon Him,
And by His wound we were healed.

F.O.G

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

KJV

But it was because of our rebellious deeds that he was pierced and because of our sins that he was crushed. He endured the punishment that made us completely whole, and in his wounding we found our healing.

tPt

Matthew 8:16-17

Now evening came, bringing Him many demonised. By a word, He expelled the spirits and healed everyone miserably ill. To fulfill what was spoken by Isaiah, the prophet, “He took our weakness and removes diseases.

F.O.G

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

KJV

That evening the people brought to him many who were demonized. And by Jesus only speaking a word of healing over them, they were totally set free from their torment, and everyone who was sick received their healing! In doing this, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: He put upon himself our weaknesses, and he carried away our diseases and made us well.

tPt

1 Peter 2:24-25

He Himself carried our sins in His body up to the wood (cross) in order that we die to sins, living in right-standing, healing by His wounds. For you strayed like sheep but now return to the Shepherd and also your wholebeing Guardian.

F.O.G

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

KJV

He himself carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we would be dead to sin and live for righteousness. Our instant healing flowed from his wounding. You were like sheep that continually wandered away,  but now you have returned to the true Shepherd of your lives—the kind Guardian who lovingly watches over your souls.

tPt

Acts 10:38

How GOD anointed ישוע Yeshua from Nazareth, with רוּחַ Ruach HaKodesh power, passed through doing good and healing everyone oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

F.O.G

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

KJV

Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power. He did wonderful things for others and divinely healed all who were under the tyranny of the devil, for God had anointed him.

tPt

Galatians 3:13-14

The Anointed One redeemed us from the curse of Torah, having become a curse for us as written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on wood.” In order that in ישוע Yeshua the Anointed One, the blessing of Abraham resulted unto the nations to receive the promise of רוּחַ Ruach HaKodesh by believing faith.

F.O.G

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

KJV

Yet, Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse of the law. He absorbed the curse completely as he became a curse in our place. For it is written: “Everyone who is hung upon a tree is cursed.” Jesus Christ dissolved the curse from our lives, so that in him all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon gentiles. And now through faith we receive the promised Holy Spirit who lives in us.

tPt

Romans 8:10-11

But if the Anointed One is in you, though the body is dead by sin, the Spirit is zoe-life through righteousness. Now, if the Spirit that raised ישוע Yeshua from the dead is housed in you, then ישוע Yeshua the Anointed One who has risen from the dead, will make your mortal bodies alive through His Spirit being housed in you.

F.O.G

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

KJV

Now Christ lives his life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, his life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God. Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!

tPt

Exodus 15:26

And He said, “If you will truly listen to the voice of יהוה Yahweh your אֱלֹהִים Elohe, to do what is right in His sight, and give ear to these commandments, and keep all these terms, I will put none of these diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians! For I, יהוה Yahweh am your healer.”

F.O.G

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

KJV

Exodus 23:25-26

But you shall serve אֵת יהוה Yahweh, your אֱלֹהִים Elohe, that He may bless אֵת your bread, and אֵת your waters. And I will remove disease from your midst. Nobody will become childless or infertile in your land, and the אֵת number of your days will be fulfilled.

F.O.G

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

KJV

Deuteronomy 30:19 F.O.G

I call the skies and the land to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death. The blessing and the curse, so choose life! So that you and your seed may live.

F.O.G

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

KJV

Psalms 42:11

Oh my whole being, Why do you melt?
And why do you tumult within me?
Wait for אֱלֹהִים Elohim, I will surely still praise Him,
My head’s salvation and my אֱלֹהִים Elohim!

F.O.G

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; For I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

KJV

So I say to my soul, “Don’t be discouraged. Don’t be disturbed. For I know my God will break through for me.” Then I’ll have plenty of reasons to praise him all over again. Yes, he is my saving grace!

tPt

Psalms 67:2

That Your way may be known amongst the land,
Your salvation, amongst all nations.

F.O.G

That thy way may be known upon earth, Thy saving health among all nations.

KJV

Send us out all over the world so that everyone everywhere will discover your ways and know who you are and see your power to save.

tPt

Psalms 91:15-16

Calling unto Me, I will answer him,
I AM with him in distress,
I rescue him and glorify him,
With length of days, I satisfy him
And cause him to feast his eyes on My salvation.

F.O.G

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, And shew him my salvation.

KJV

I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will feel my presence in your time of trouble. I will deliver you and bring you honor. I will satisfy you with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!

tPt

Psalms 103:2-5

Kneel to אֵת YAHWEH, O my being,
And forget none of His benefits.
Who forgives all your sins,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion.
Who satisfies your desires with the good,
Renewing your youth, like the eagle.

F.O.G

Bless the LORD , O my soul, And forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

KJV

Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. You’ve rescued me from hell and saved my life. You’ve crowned me with love and mercy. You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky!

tPt

Psalms 107:19-20

Then crying out to YAHWEH in their distress,
He saves them from their hardship.
Sending His Word, heals them,
And delivers from their pits.

F.O.G

Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, And he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

KJV

Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did! God spoke the words “Be healed,” and we were healed, delivered from death’s door!

tPt

Psalms 118:17-18

I will not die but live,
To tell of Yah’s works!
YAH has extremely disciplined me,
But He hasn’t given me over to death.

F.O.G

I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD. The LORD hath chastened me sore: But he hath not given me over unto death.

KJV

You will not let them kill me, but I will live to tell the world what the Lord has done for me. Yes, the Lord punished me as I deserved, but he’ll never give me over to death.

tPt

Proverbs 3:7-8

Don’t be wise in your eyes,
FEAR אֵת YAHWEH and turn from evil.
It is medicine to your navel,
And drink to your bones.

F.O.G

Be not wise in thine own eyes: Fear the LORD , and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, And marrow to thy bones.

KJV

Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.

tPt

Proverbs 4:20-22

My son, listen to my words,
Stretch your ears to my sayings
Departing not from your eyes,
Keep them in your heart’s middle.
For they joyfully live to them found,
And health to all his body.

F.O.G

My son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh.

KJV

Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.

tPt

Isaiah 40:29-31

He hands down power to the weary,
And to those lacking might, He increases strength.
Though youths weary and struggle,
And young men weakly stumble,
Yet, hope in YAHWEH,
To gain strength,
Sprouting wings like the eagles,
Running without tiring,
Walking without wearying.

F.O.G

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

KJV

Jeremiah 30:17

“Surely I ascend you to healing,
And heal you of your wounds” declares YAHWEH,
“Because you are scattered away calling,
‘It is Zion, nobody is seeking for her.’”

F.O.G

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD ; because they called thee an Outcast, saying , This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

KJV

Jeremiah 33:6

Look, I bring to it prolonged healing,
repairing and revealing to them
an abundance of peace and truth.

F.O.G

Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

KJV

Romans 8:2-4

For the Torah (law) of Spirit of life, has set you free in Messiah Jesus from the Torah of sin and death. For what the Torah couldn’t do in which it was weak through the flesh, God sent Himself, the Son in likeness of flesh of sin, concerning sin and condemned sin in the flesh. So that the Torah’s terms be fulfilled in us who don’t walk according to flesh but according to Spirit.

F.O.G

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

KJV

For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death. For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God sent us his Son in human form to identify with human weakness. Clothed with humanity, God’s Son gave his body to be the sin-offering so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of sin. So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living his life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit!

tPt

3 John 1:2

Beloved, I pray in every way you prosper and are healthy, just as your heart prospers.

F.O.G

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

KJV

Beloved friend, I pray that you are prospering in every way and that you continually enjoy good health, just as your soul is prospering.

Revelation 22:1-4

(Then he showed me a water of life river, shining as crystal coming from the throne of God and the Lamb in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life bearing 12 crops of fruit and granting its fruit monthly and the tree leaves are for healing the nations. And there is no longer any curse as the throne of God and the Lamb is in it and His bond-servants serve (worship) Him. They see His face and His name is upon their foreheads.

F.O.G

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

KJV

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, flowing with water clear as crystal, continuously pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb. The river was flowing in the middle of the street of the city, and on either side of the river was the Tree of Life, with its twelve kinds of ripe fruit according to each month of the year. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. And every curse will be broken and no longer exist, for the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there in the city. His loving servants will serve him; they will always see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

Acts 28:5-6

(5) However, he shook the beast into the fire, suffering no harm. But they expected he would swell or suddenly fall down dead. But after they waited long for him, seeing nothing wrong, changed and said, “He is a god!”

F.O.G

And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

KJV

But Paul shook the snake off, flung it into the fire, and suffered no harm at all. Everyone watched him, expecting him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. After observing him for a long time and seeing that nothing unusual happened, they changed their minds and said, “He must be a god!”
