Paul replied, “I am standing before the judgment seat of Caesar, where I ought to be tried. I have done nothing wrong to the Jews, as you yourself know very well.

[10] Paul, recognizing the deadly danger in this suggestion, stood his ground: "I am already standing before Caesar's court, where I ought to be tried. You know very well that I have done nothing wrong against the Jewish people.
