(16) Now the son of Paul's sister heard this ambush and entered into the barracks telling Paul.

[16] But God's providence intervened through an unexpected source. Paul's nephew overheard their murderous plans and, overcome with fear for his uncle's life, rushed to the barracks to warn Paul.
