(4) but if a certain widow has children or grandchildren they are to learn first and foremost to show devotion to their own family and repay a return to their parents because this is acceptable before יהוה YAHWEH's sight.

[4] But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these family members must first learn to put their faith into action by caring for their own family. This repays the debt of love they owe their parents and grandparents, and it brings joy to יהוה's heart.
The F.O.G Paraphrase
and if any widow have children or grandchildren, let them learn first to their own house to show piety, and to give back a recompense to the parents, for this is right and acceptable before God.
