And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.

[13] These three remain permanent and unshakeable: faith that trusts completely, hope that anticipates joyfully, and love that transforms totally. But the greatest of these is love—for love is the very essence of יהוה Himself, the force that will outlast everything else in existence.
