For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

(21) because since in the wisdom of The אֱלֹהִים Elohim-God, the world through its wisdom doesn't know The אֱלֹהִים Elohim-God. The אֱלֹהִים Elohim-God takes delight through the foolishness of the proclamation to save those believing.

[21] For since in God's wisdom the world through its wisdom couldn't know Him, God chose to save those who believe through what appears to be the foolishness of our preaching.

for, seeing in the wisdom of God the world through the wisdom knew not God, it did please God through the foolishness of the preaching to save those believing.
